August Lodge is a 25 suite, two story timber frame country Inn, perched atop a wild flower covered meadow. Each over-sized suite is accessed from a two story, full length porch, with, soaring, dramatic, hand-hewn hammer beam trusses centered front and rear. Our suites have an expanded, fully stocked kitchen facility, including a ceramic stove cook top, microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, china, stemware, silverware, and sink. Our authentically decorated lodge rooms feature king or queen beds with imported Egyptian linens, pull out sofa, full bathroom, Adirondack and log furnishings, air-conditioning, satellite TV, excellent cell phone reception and WiFi high speed Internet throughout the lodge. Our guests may barbeque dinner by the picnic tables and explore 178 private acres.Wake up every morning to the sweet smell of fresh country air from your private balcony. Each balcony sports Adirondack furniture from which to enjoy the breath taking panoramic views and spectacular fall foliage. A complimentary delicious home-baked continental breakfast is available in our lodge lobby May through November. Curl up by the fireplace, challenge yourselves to a game of table tennis in the screened pool pavilion, or simply relax and restore your mind in the beautiful, serene country atmosphere. You may play volleyball, badminton, tetherbal, and horseshoes.A full menu of spa treatments is available upon request. Some ammenities are not in service November through April.
